This Privacy Policy explains how HeavyHub ("HeavyHub", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information in connection with the HeavyHub website, marketplace, and related services (the "Platform"). By using the Platform, you agree to the collection and use of information as described here.

Account information: name, phone number, email address, business and GST details, and identity or address-proof documents submitted during Supplier or Customer registration.

Listing and booking information: equipment details, pricing, availability, booking requests, and communications exchanged through the Platform between Suppliers and Customers.

Equipment telemetry: for equipment actively listed and rented through the Platform, we collect GPS location, movement status, engine-hour readings, and fuel level from the fitted tracking device for the duration of the rental period, as described in our Terms of Service.

Payment information: transaction records and payout details necessary to process rental payments; card and bank details are processed by our payment partners and are not stored directly on HeavyHub's servers.

Usage data: log data such as IP address, browser type, device identifiers, and pages visited, collected automatically when you use the Platform.

We use collected information to: operate and improve the Platform; verify Supplier and Customer identity and eligibility; process bookings and payments; provide live equipment tracking to the Supplier and Customer party to a given rental; communicate booking updates, service notices, and support responses; detect and prevent fraud or misuse; and comply with applicable legal and regulatory obligations.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

With other Users: to complete a booking, a Customer's contact and site-location details are shared with the assigned Supplier, and a Supplier's business and equipment details are shared with the booking Customer. Telemetry data for a given rental is visible to both the Supplier and Customer party to that rental.

With service providers: we share information with payment processors, cloud hosting providers, SMS/email delivery services, and GPS device or connectivity partners as necessary to operate the Platform, under contractual obligations to protect that information.

For legal reasons: we may disclose information where required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of HeavyHub, our Users, or the public.

We retain account and booking information for as long as your account is active and as needed to comply with legal, tax, and accounting requirements thereafter. Telemetry data is retained for a limited period following the end of a rental to support dispute resolution and service improvement, after which it is deleted or anonymized.

You may access, correct, or request deletion of your account information by contacting us at the details below, subject to information we are required to retain for legal or accounting purposes. You may also request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.

Suppliers may disable tracking sharing for a machine only when it is not part of an active rental; tracking during an active rental is a core part of the Platform's service to both parties and cannot be selectively disabled by one side.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

The Platform is not directed to individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified through the Platform or by email ahead of taking effect.
